Welcome to the new Sly McGee Website.

Sly McGee, also known as Shawn Clark, first started playing at age 5 when he picked up an acoustic guitar.  By the time Shawn was a teenager he was playing with bands and musicians from Minnesota to Texas.

Shawn then moved back to Minnesota in the late 90’s.  Thats when he formed the three piece funk, blues, rock trio called Sly McGee.  Sly McGee consists of electric guitar/lead vocals, bass guitar and drums/percussion.  Sly McGee has seen many different faces over the past few years, however the leader and visionary Shawn Clark has remained the same. 

The Newest members of Sly McGee are Bassist/Vocals, Brian Annett and Drummer/Vocals Karl Dehkes.   Now with the addition of Brian and Karl, the Sly McGee Trio is on a mission to preform there original funk, blues and rock style music through out Minnesota and the midwest area.
